Clinical Conversations Roadshow — Melbourne

  • Amora Hotel Riverwalk Melbourne (map)

Dr Brad Leech will lead the education session at the Clinical Conversations Roadshow when it comes to Melbourne, presenting "Solving Stubborn Constipation: Integrating Microbiome Insights with Transit Physiology." This evidence-informed session approaches constipation through two complementary clinical lenses colonic transit and defaecation patterns, and the role of the gut microbiome in ongoing symptoms equipping attendees to recognise slow transit and obstructive presentations, understand how the microbiome may be driving persistent symptoms, and apply targeted, evidence-informed interventions. Brad will work through the key clinical decision points for investigation and management, leaving practitioners with a clear, practical framework they can take straight back into the consultation room. The day also includes a practitioner-led case study workshop, a group case study task, and a breathwork session.
