Two live evenings with me on Zoom, each with 60 minutes of teaching followed by 15 minutes of live Q&A. Together they take you from "is it really SIBO?" to a plan that lasts.

Assessing SIBO and Finding the Driver

Breath testing, looked at critically: when a SIBO test is actually warranted, the misinformation around it, what causes false positives, and what to do with a slightly positive result. Then the lookalikes that mimic SIBO, such as functional bloating, and why so many patients react to food with bloating.

From there, the ten drivers that keep SIBO coming back, and the pathology that finds them: blood tests that uncover hidden drivers such as autoimmune gastritis with low stomach acid, and stool metagenomics to judge how robust the microbiome is and what else it is contributing. Stool reflects the colon, not the small intestine, so it informs the case rather than diagnosing SIBO. We finish by putting it together with the SIBO Driver Questionnaire and a case walk-through.

Treating SIBO and Breaking the Cycle

Management that targets the drivers found in Module 1 as well as the overgrowth, going beyond the standard low FODMAP and antimicrobials protocol. What to address first, and where antimicrobials fit, including when the microbiome isn't robust enough for them yet.

Digestive support where stomach acid, enzymes or bile are driving the case. Supporting the migrating motor complex and the ileocaecal valve. Stress and visceral hypersensitivity as drivers in their own right. Then diet and lifestyle beyond low FODMAP, my top supplements by presentation, and the follow-up that keeps patients well.
